BYD's small electric SUV, Atto 3, which started pre-order sales in Korea on the 16th, is receiving great attention from consumers.
Using BYD's LFP-based blade battery, which combines the highest level of safety and improved energy density, it is possible to travel 321km on a single charge.
BYD ATTO 3, which has been pre-booked, will be available in two trims. The recommended retail price is BYD ATTO 3 31.5 million won and BYD ATTO 3 plus 33.3 million won (before applying electric vehicle purchase subsidies and tax benefits).
If the subsidy is applied, it is expected to be available in the latter half of 20 million won. Customer delivery of contracted vehicles is scheduled to proceed sequentially from February.
On the other hand, Hyundai's Casper EV is a small SUV that will compete with Atto 3.
The Casper EV(Inster) has a 1-charge mileage of 315 km (inspiration, based on a 15-inch alloy wheel) and is not much different from the Ato 3.
The market price is about 31.5 million won before applying the electric vehicle tax benefit, which is almost the same price as the basic model of Ato 3, but it is pushed back in terms of weight and performance.
However, if you receive tax benefits and electric vehicle subsidies at the maximum (Seoul City subsidies), the actual purchase price is quite competitive in the low 20 million won range.
Casper EV is cheaper in terms of price because it can receive more subsidies than Atto 3 with LFP battery.
