At the 2025 Seoul Mobility Show, Genesis took the wraps off the X Gran Convertible Concept, making its world premiere during an official press conference. Based on the flagship G90 sedan, the two-door convertible concept captures the pinnacle of Genesis luxury in open-top form.
The X Gran Convertible continues Genesis' signature “Athletic Elegance” design philosophy, interpreted with refined, flowing proportions and precision detailing. The front fascia features the iconic Two-Line headlamps and the Crest Grille, which integrates an intricate 3D diamond-pattern mesh that mimics interwoven metal cords, conveying a sense of precision craftsmanship.

On the side profile, the vehicle showcases a long, stretched hood and bold, flared fenders that emphasize volume and stance. The frameless long doors and unified Daylight Opening (DLO) glass area create a bold silhouette that visually links the interior and exterior spaces.

What distinguishes the convertible variant is its gracefully extended beltline that separates the soft-top roof from the body, coupled with a gently rising rear character line that enhances the car's fluid, elegant proportions.
At the rear, the design is completed by slim tail lamps, an integrated Genesis wordmark emblem, a subtle spoiler edge, and dual rectangular exhaust tips harmonized with chrome trim lines that flow from the sides—underscoring its sporty sophistication.

The exterior is painted in a deep burgundy hue, inspired by Italian fine wine, offering a luxurious tone and tranquil presence that befits a flagship open-air model.

Inside, the X Gran Convertible builds on the G90’s minimalist elegance, enriching it with tailored details aligned with the concept’s theme. The instrument panel’s wing-shaped design is now formed into one unified curve for greater driver immersion. The lower spoke of the steering wheel is finished in finely patterned aluminum, enhancing both aesthetics and tactile control.

Function and form converge in the front-row seats, which feature integrated seatbelts, rear air vents, and a seamless rear-seat display—highlighting holistic design integration.

The cabin is finished in blue-tinted natural leather, reminiscent of premium wine grapes, while eucalyptus wood with a characteristic gloss enhances the space with a distinct sense of warmth and luxury.

The global debut of the X Gran Convertible marks another bold step in Genesis’ pursuit of design-driven innovation, sustainability, and modern luxury.
