Samsung SDI has unveiled its latest next-generation battery products and innovative technologies at InterBattery 2025, South Korea's largest battery industry exhibition, which kicked off on March 5 at COEX in Samseong-dong, Seoul. Under the slogan "InCelligent Life: Upgrading Our Daily Lives with Battery Technology," the company aims to highlight how advanced battery technologies are transforming everyday experiences.
Largest Booth Featuring Six Dedicated Zones
As one of the largest exhibitors among 680 participating companies, Samsung SDI has set up an extensive exhibition booth divided into six themed zones that focus on key areas of battery applications:

Breakthroughs in Battery Safety and Performance
At the exhibition, Samsung SDI has showcased its diverse prismatic battery lineup and advanced material portfolio.
A standout innovation is the No Thermal Propagation (No TP) technology, which prevents heat from spreading between battery cells, significantly enhancing safety.
Additionally, the company has introduced All-Solid-State Batteries (ASB), which feature industry-leading energy density and reinforce the superior safety of prismatic batteries.
New High-Performance Cylindrical Batteries
Samsung SDI also made waves by unveiling four cylindrical battery models in the 46mm diameter (46φ) series, including the award-winning 50A-class ultra-high-power cylindrical battery, which received the InterBattery Awards 2025.
Alongside this, the company presented the upgraded Samsung Battery Box (SBB) 1.5 with improved safety and capacity, as well as a new high-power battery designed for Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) systems.
Collaboration with Industry Leaders
Samsung SDI is actively expanding its partnerships in robotics and autonomous mobility. The exhibition features real-world applications of its battery technology in products such as:
