Group BTS (BTS) will release a new album as a whole next spring, and then go on a world tour around the world.
BTS delivered the news directly on a live broadcast on the afternoon of the 1st through the fan community platform "Weverse Live." The broadcast was the first official schedule where members who recently completed their military service gathered in one place, and fans reacted enthusiastically to the full group appearance for the first time in a long time.
"From July, we will focus on music together," RM said. "A group album will be released next spring. It won't last until July or August."
Starting next spring, of course, the tour and the world tour will continue, he said. "I'll be looking around the world, so please look forward to it."
The album will be worked on in the U.S., and RM said, "If you give me a little more time, I will come back to my proper self," and expressed his intention to continue communicating with fans.
This is the first time in four years since the solo concert "Yet to Come in Busan," which was held in October of the same year as the solo album "Proof" in June 2022. In particular, it is all the more meaningful in that it is the first project after all members returned from military service after a period when group activities were suspended due to military service.
Member Jungkook vowed, "This time, we're going to go back to the beginning and get together again," while Jimin thanked the fans, "We'll prepare hard so that the waiting period for you is not long. I'm so happy just to be together."
Meanwhile, BTS, who debuted as a hip-hop idol in 2013, has put a total of six albums on top of Billboard's main album chart, Billboard 200.
